This is my same exact problem. Right at that point that it is securing
the channel it stops and the remote disconnects. My setup, is:
W2K/ISA dials out to an ADSL. The Internal IP is: 192.168.5.55, the
external is 192.168.6.166. When I connect on the 192.168.6.x network, and
I initialize the dial-out connection, I am able to connect. I will be
working more with this today. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
