cannot browse web with aol through isa (integrated)

using isa firewall and proxy and a mix of win2k and win98 clients, some
set as nats, some as firewall clients.
clients can browse www with ie, can ping internet addresses, use ftp and
can log onto and use aol, but cannot use the aol browser to browse the
web.
(this is important as aol provides filtering for childrens axs)
can anyone advise?
