app wants port 80

I have an application that for the most part works fine on a machine
behind ISA. However none of the help works, which when clicked opens up a
web window and just hangs.
Their tech support says that i need to allow the app to have access to
port 80. However this machine is otherwise able to browse the internet
with no problems, except from within this particular app.
What should i do?
