Well that all depends.

A washing machine needs 3 - hot port, cold port, drain port.

An iron needs a large range -  the fill ports and many steam ports. 1024 - 
65533 is normally good for that.

You can work the rest out by reading the help on the ISA CD or visiting 
www.isaserver.org.
