Dear all,

Many thanks for all your help. I've now managed to
get my Yahoo webcam working. I needed to set a
protocol definition not a packet filter for port 5100.

Ian

You need a protocol rule for outgoing traffic, packet filter for
incoming traffic.

                Mark,

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm very new to ISA
server.
I've tried opening the packet filter for port 5100 i've
even
                trrown the firewall wide open.

Do I also need to create a protocol definition ? and if
so
how do I do this and do I need to make any changes
                on the yahoo software.

                Many thanks for your help

                Ian

For Yahoo camera you need to allow port 5100.

I've been trying to get my Yahoo messenger
webcam to work with ISA. So far
with no success I've even tried throwing the
firewall wide open and
allowing any port still without any sucess. Can
anyone please tell me how
this is done or if not that it definately can't
be done.

Also if not would it work if the cam and
software was installed on the ISA
                        server itself ?

                        Many thanks.
