Andrew, Not sure if this helps. I had similar issues after the Windows Update was upgraded to the new version. I found a Microsoft article, which mentioned enabling anonymous access to windows update sites through the ISA server. That worked for me. I have enabled specific rules to allow anonymous access only to windows update sites. HTH.
