If you avoid playing with RC or Beta bits because of a fear that you'll hit problems, you're missing the point; the customers will OFTEN find bugs that the test and dev teams missed. If you don't' play in the RC and Beta pools when you get the chance, you shouldn't "swim with the big boys". ..of course, if you don't have the resources to dedicate one or more machines to this effort, that's understandable. ..wait; no, it isn't - there's always VMWare or Virual PC / Server. <VBG> Jim Harrison MCP(NT4, W2K), A+, Network+, PCG http://isaserver.org/Jim_Harrison/ http://isatools.org Read the help / books / articles! -----Original Message----- From: Andrew English [mailto:andrew@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, December 07, 2004 8:14 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 Release Candidate (32-bit) http://www.ISAserver.org My 2 cents regarding beta's is that I don't touch them especially Service Packs since Microsoft tends to make changes between the RC's and the final release, and like it was already stated SP1 for Windows 2003 does have some issues with ISA 2004. GO FIGURE! By all means, test it; just don't include ISA as part of the testing. Just posted this so if someone is interested can try on a test machine or read the documentation to see what things are being changed. I guess this is going to be another mess following xp service pack 2 Jim Harrison wrote: > http://www.ISAserver.org > > DO NOT install this on your ISA. > > There are known issues for which ISA
