You may not be able to ping the ISA server. From memory only "remote access computers" (forget the technical term) are able to ping the ISA server in 2k4 -----Original Message----- From: Theo Hertog [mailto:theo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, August 09, 2005 2:09 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Windows 98 with ISA Server 2004 http://www.ISAserver.org Hi Jim, On de Windows 98 SE, i ping the way i do on a Windows XP client. Ping on host name gives me the ip-address of the ISA server, but no answer. On the Windows 98 SE client i can ping to any other client on the internal network and a few servers on the internet. So i can through the ISA server with ping.
