Which protocols can VPN out through ISA?

Hi,
We have an AS/400 which has VPN hosting and client abilities.
It uses L2TP over IPSec.
Our AS/400 is at our main site and it will need to VPN out of our network
into another network. so will probably get an IP address not in our range.
2 questions;
1. Will ISA let the AS/400 out so it can make a remote connection using L2TP
over IPSec?
2. Will giving the AS/400 a very different address affect other users (I
think not)?
