Using ISA 2006 and Websense v7.1, I'm getting intermittent block pages when hitting blocked sites. What is "supposed" to happen is that when a blocked page is found, the connection is redirected to another server (on intranet) that will display the block message. This works intermittently. What happens usually is that the user gets a 502 page from the ISA server saying it has denied the request. If you refresh the page, it will (usually) redirect properly and show the actual Websense block page explaining why it was blocked. Websense support site lists this as the recommended response (but not for v7): http://kb.websense.com/display/4/kb/article.aspx?aid=3231&n=1&docid=782748&tab=search Is there a better way than allowing unauthenticated HTTP access to localhost? -------------------------------------------------- Dan Ball Network and Systems Technician Marquette Area Public Schools 1103 West College Avenue Marquette, MI 49855 E-Mail: dball@xxxxxxxxxxx<BLOCKED::mailto:dball@xxxxxxxxxxx> Phone: (906)225-5779 Fax: (906)225-5377 --------------------------------------------------
