I'm having some problems with some of our web rules and I was wondering if someone here could help. We have a rule that blocks certain sites and everything seems to be working fine, however a user came to me today and asked why a specific site was blocked. It wasn't a name I recognised so I checked in our blocked list and the site isn't listed in any of our blocked lists. I went onto the website itself and noticed that there seems to be some website redirection going on in the background, the kind offered by internet name hosts. I know that I can telnet to the particular DNS name and see if there is a redirection in effect and where the redirect points to, but I was wondering of someone out there has some form of simple browser application that will help me track down where this site is actually located.
