That may have been the option that was installed. This ISA server was here
before I was (3 months). The other ISA server I built over the weekend seems
to have all the options because I installed in Integrated Mode. So I'm in the
process of switching over the network to that one. BTW, I picked up your book
this weekend. Great read so far, like a Grisham novel, but with pictures.
Very clear and consise. Do you plan on writing more any more books?

Hi Daneil,

Did you install in Web caching mode only?

http://www.ISAserver.org Fantastic...but I have just one problem. Under
Extensions I do not have HTTP Redirector listed. Did I miss something on the
install?

Hi Daniel,

This should not even be an issue. Users should NOT NOT NOT be looping back
through the ISA firewall to access internal resources. If you need access
control for trusted network hosts, implement it at the Web server. You can use
Direct Access to configure the Web Proxy clients to bypass the ISA firewall for
internal domains.

Subject: [isalist] Web Root Not Accessible

http://www.ISAserver.org Hey Guys,

I wrote in a few weeks ago about a problem I was having regarding a deny I was
trying to set up on my http://root.mycompany.com (intranet server). That was
sucessfully applied, and now no one from the other division of my company can
access that site, but when someone tries to get to http://www.mycompany.com (on
the web) they can't reach it.

Can you block a root domain internally on purpose and then have all external
access to the same domain blocked by accident? And if so, how to I remedy this?

Thanks

Daniel
