Try clearing the ISA cache and retrying the request. ISA won't update the mime-type unti lit hast to update the cache contents. -----Original Message----- From: William Holmes [mailto:wtholmes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, October 12, 2004 09:19 To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Web Publishing and Mime Types http://www.ISAserver.org Hello, I am publishing a web server with ISA 2004. On the IIS server I have configured a mime type for .java files to be text/plain. If I go to a URL that points to a .java file the file is displayed in my web browser as text. However if I veiw the published web site the MIME type gets translated to octet/stream (evidently by the ISA server). How can I change this behavior? I want .java files to be displayed directly as plain text.
