Actually, that's not true.
It'll install Integrated mode on a single NIC (I know; stupid), but it won't
be functional as a firewall until that second NIC appears.

I was looking at that post also and wondering. ISA Server can only be
installed in Caching Only mode if it only has one NIC.

First : Did you check if any ohter service is running on that port (that
port is most used for proxys and webservers)??
Second : How are you planning to deploy ISA with just one NIC ?? (All I know
is that you will need at least two interfaces, one internal and one
external).

i have a ISA server and ip is 192.168.2.1 Only one NIC card.
the ISA error is below:
Web Proxy service failed to bind its socket to 192.168.2.1 port 8080. This
could be caused by another service that is already using the same port or by
a network interface card that is not functional. The error code specified in
the Data area of the event properties indicates the cause of the failure.

Any one can help me pon this issue ?
