That's actually a different, unrelated question.
Name resolution for a given service must be correct, or the service 
configuration becomes irrelevant (if you can't get there, it doesn't matter if 
it works or not).

It's more along the lines of one may contradict the other if you have multiple 
internal networks.  I had to remove the DNS entry on ours because it was giving 
out the address that they couldn't reach.
