You may want to run the QFECHECK.EXE to make sure the MS01-033 is installed correctly..... Qfecheck.exe Verifies the Installation of Windows 2000 Hotfixes -----Original Message----- From: Nicholas Palmer [mailto:NICK@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, August 17, 2001 12:06 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: WOW - New tool for security from MS http://www.ISAserver.org Pretty impressive tool, but I think there is something wrong with its ability to check Hotfixes. I've applied the MS01-033 fix, on my server, run the Code Red checker, run both MS hotfix scan tools - the windows script one and the .exe and they say I'm not missing this hotfix. But when I run the new tool, it says that I'm missing the MS01-033 fix. What am I missing here? I applied the latest Jumbo MS Patch MS01-044 yesterday so maybe that is confusing this thing somehow.
