Sorry, im gonna gay way OT here but we will resume normal programming
soon. Plugging a friend of mine here and this is the easiest way I know
to get the message to a large number of Americans.
Jimi Hocking is the name, Blues guitar is the game. If anyone wants to
catch up really wicked gig check him out if he's in a town near you
(included gig guide) He won the Australian blue artist of the year last
year and went to New York a few months ago and won the International
Blues Challenge. So if you could dig seeing a skinny white boy playing a
175 over his shoulder whilst doing the splits and rockin around, gotta
check him out. He was a member of a few of Australia's leading bands The
Screaming Jets, The Angles and open for Joe Satriani many years ago.
His website has some info and some mp3 stuff to now I see. If you get
down there tell him Greg sent ya, he'll love it.

Museum Blues out Back series., Gaston, NC. 5:30 -

July 11-14 - stay in NY/NJ area - probably do Terra Blues, and other
clubs.
July 16 - Greenwood Blues Cruise Festival of Discovery - 3-4pm set.
July 20 - Ground Zero, Clarksdale, MS opening set July 22 - Knoxville
Museum Alive after 5 series. 5-8pm July 23 - WEVL Blues On the Bluff
Festival, afternoon set July 27 - Sandestin, FL Blues Series 7-9pm.
Maybe Funky Blues Shack, Destin that night. (these will be with a trio)
July 29 - Funky Blues Shack - Destin FL July 30 - New Orleans Courtyard
series. 6-8pm (tent.)
