I would tend to agree except that I have more than one machine doing this.
Two separate models of Compaq Proliant with separate setups on hardware
usage/config. One was an upgrade from NT 4.0 and one was a fresh install.
No software installed prior to the problem. The upgraded machine never had
this problem until directly after the upgrade was done. That told me a
driver issue maybe, but doing the outlined trouble shooting set forth by
MS showed no driver causing it.

Not sure, but not giving up either. Compaq's papers offer no help either.
Just wanted to see if anyone out there had any ideas.
