VPN through ISA

Dear lister;
i have an application connect to server with VPN connection. if i use the
client application connect directly to internet, it works. but if i want the
connection via ISA, it doesn't work. there's a message "failed to establish a
tcp connection"...
Does anybody know and solve about my issue? did i miss configure in protocol
definition?
anyhelp would be appreciated...
