Hi tom

Perhaps

I do think that isa is controlling rsas and if you change rras perhaps
isa need to understand this,

This I why I ask this on a isa topic...

I hope you can agree

Regards,

Mario

Hi Mario,

It's a client and server issue instead of an ISA firewall issue.

You need to configure the clients to use the alternate control channel
ports, and then configure the server to use the alternate control
channel ports. I suppose its possible, but it would likely require
recoding both the client and server applications.

        Hi Tom

Isa does understand this as what I have seen

But it's the how to what's been troubling me.

For real if you do not know just let me know, I think this is in
deed a good topic.

        I hope you agree,

        Greetz,

        Hi Mario,

I've never seen a method to do this.

Why not use the fault control channel ports? Security through
obscurity? :)

Yes I am looking for this,

I have done some test with openvpn but trying to look
for a keen solution.

Your documentation would really help as you have done
before.

Never the less this is a business driven question.

                Hi Mario,

What do you mean by different ports? Do you want to
change the TCP or UDP ports used for the PPTP and L2TP control channels?

                        Hi Tom

Can I kindly ask about pptp and l2tp on
different ports,

This in conjunction with isa 2k4

Do you have any documentation about this

This is NOT a PPTP or L2TP issue, its a problem
with the destination VPN endpoint.
