Hi

NetBT is disabled on the external NIC not the internal. Should I enable
it?

What difference can or does it make?

Thanks again

William

Hi William,

Why is NetBT disabled on the internal NIC? Again, ISA Server policies
are not applied to VPN clients. VPN clients are considered LAT hosts,
and hopefully your assigning them IP addresses that are on the LAT.

        Hi

The ISA External ISA NIC's on both sides have NETBIOS over
TCP/IP disabled. Could this have something to do with it? What could I
risk if I enable them ?

        Thanks

        William

        Hi William,

ISA Server doesn't apply firewall policy to VPN connections, so
its not ISA Server that's causing the problem.

                http://www.ISAserver.org

                Hi All

I need some urgent help here.

So I VPN into a network protected by ISA. I authenticate
ok, I can use RDP , ping and other basic stuff.

I need to establish an ODBC connector from the remote
VPN client to the SQL server on the ISA machine. I cannot seem to get to
create the ODBC. I tried both with Windows authentication and SQL SA
login. I keep getting an error which effectively tells me server not
found.

What do I need to do. Must I open up something on ISA?

                Any help really appreciated

                William
