VPN and ADSL over W2K

We have problems when trying to connect to the VPN from an external office
(running W2K server with ISA Server) to the company' headquarters that use a
third party firewall/VPN appliance from eSoft.
When this connection is tested using a common modem connection it works, but it
doesn't when we try using the ADSL.
Looking at the MS Technet there is only a reference to WMe, but nothing about
W2K Server.
Any idea?
