I'm not sure about VNC's options, but with TS you can specify which
interface(s) TS will bind to... Therefore you can specify TS only listens on
the internal interface, which is one less item to worry about if you don't
want/need remote management from outside... (Yes yes, I know that ISA would
block the incoming requests unless they were allowed, but as we all should
know, reducing the surface of attack is always the best course of action "just
in case.")

Generally, the RDP (TS's) protocol is more efficient than VNC and has less
problems with screen refresh issues (try to browse a couple web pages with IE
over a VNC connection and you'll quickly understand what I mean).

I do know many people who run VNC on externally accessible clients... It's
highly recommend that VNC be run with SSH encryption in these situations...

Helo,

is it secure to use Real VNC (http://www.realvnc.com/) instead of
Terminal Service, for remote desktop management on ISA Server 2000 on
Windows2000 Server? What configuration is more secure? Which software
for remote desktop management do you recommend?
Thanks
