SUS with SP1 is out now and it does support running on SBS as well as on
any domain controller, which was the issue pre-SP1.

And isn't it still true that SUS won't run on SBS? Thought I might have
heard a rumor that they were going to support that now, but wasn't sure
if
that was a dream or not. Hope not, hate to think I'm dreaming about
this
stuff...

Any host that should get the updates from the SUS server needs to have:
- W2K Sp2 or later
- WinXP SP1 or later
- Any later OS
- GPO settings or the registry settings applied.

Then you have to restart the Automatic Updates service so it can catch
up on
the changes.

Hi

Sorry meant the registry-based group policy to redirect AU to SUS.
For some reason my policy is unable to make the changes to the registry
so
had to do it by hand.

Was there any changes to the ISA config to allow it to do AU from SUS.??

Thanks.

Was there any thing special required doing on the ISA server to enable
SUS
updates from an internal server, like opening up ports etc on the ISA
server
apart from the registry edit .??
