Hi Joseph,

There is a RK utility called srvany that allows virtually any process to
be run as a service, so there shouldn't need to ever be a logged on user
just to run an app.

HTH,

Well,

For security reasons, I would not want a machine to auto logon. If you
need a specific item ran when a machine reboots then I would create a
program that runs as a service and that doesn't need to be logged on
when a machine is rebooted. Even if you used a screen saver password,
if someone were in the vicinity of the auto logon machine. All they
would have to do is hold the shift key down while the machine was
booting and the screen saver would be turned off.

What application do you need to run and why would you really need auto
logon?

Thank you,

Joseph

I'm sorry that this doesn't fall under the ISA topic. But I need to know
how to automatically log on to a machine, so when I reboot it, it logs
on to the network with a specific user's credentials. Also, can I set
the PC to automatically restart at a certain time? I need to have this
done for my boss today.

Thanks a bunch!
