Subject: [isalist] RE: Unable to send/receive mail after publish on
isa2k4...

Looks as though my external adapter is causing some problems:

Alert Information
Description: ISA Server detected routes through adapter "North -
External" that do not correlate with the network element to which this
adapter belongs. The address ranges in conflict are:
65.14.248.7-65.14.248.7;68.211.24.239-68.211.24.239;68.255.255.255-68.25
5.255.255;.
Fix the network element and/or the routing table to make these ranges
consistent; they should be in both or in neither. If you recently
created a remote site network, check if the event recurs. If it does
not, you may safely ignore this message.
ISA Server detected routes through adapter "Loopback" that do not
correlate with the network element to which this adapter belongs. The
address ranges in conflict are: 68.211.24.239-68.211.24.239;. Fix the
network element and/or the routing table to make these ranges
consistent; they should be in both or in neither. If you recently
created a remote site network, check if the event recurs. If it does
not, you may safely ignore this message.

Resource Allocation Failure:
Description: The Web Proxy filter failed to bind its socket to
192.168.1.2 port 80. This may have been caused by another service that
is already using the same port or by a network adapter that is not
functional. To resolve this issue, restart the Microsoft Firewall
service. The error code specified in the data area of the event
properties indicates the cause of the failure. The failure is due to
error: 0x8007271d

My first question is where do I go to modify or remove
68.211.24.239-68.211.24.239? My second question comes back to the IP
that's assigned to my external interface and how it should be
configured. Right now it's set as follows:
Obtain an IP address automatically
ipconfig shows: 192.168.1.2 as IP and 192.168.1.1 as gateway

Use the following DNS server address: 192.168.5.8 - ip of internal DNS
server

Even though I have the internal interface setup on a 192.168.5.0 subnet
do I still need to setup the external interface on a totally different
network or will 192.168.1.0 suffice?

thnks
