99 times out of 10, changes such as this are a choice borne of test capability limits. I have to say, ?what were they thinking?? I know we?re not the only ones that still have lots of XP clients out in the field. And they can?t use SSTP. I have read that at one point, MS was considering adding SSTP support into XP (maybe in SP3, maybe later), but then either minds changed or that was just a rumor. Apparently it is not going to happen. So I guess we can?t deploy UAG SP1. Disappointing. The fellow we?re working with has it set up at his office. He?s got UAG 2010 without SP1. We?ve got UAG with SP1. When we come to the dialog for setting up VPN access, it?s different on his box than it is on ours. We?re wondering if the difference is due to SP1 or something else. On our SP1 box, the only VPN protocol option we get is SSTP. Since we still have lots of XP machines out in the field, we still need PPTP. If you look at the two screenshots below, you?ll see that on the non-SP1 version, he gets three protocol options: SSTP, PPTP, and L2TP. On the SP1 version, the only VPN protocol we get is for SSTP. Is there a checkbox or something somewhere that will allow us to get more protocol options? Thanks, Rob UAG 2010 without SP1: UAG 2010 with SP1:
