Hi, Folks ! I have an Exchange 5.5 SP4 behind an ISA Server and I want to filter out all the packets that passes through ISA Server. Therefore, I activated IP Packet Filtering and created filters for SMTP packets on port 25. As for the DNS traffic, I am relying on the default created DNS filter, which seems to work fine. But somewhere I missed something. I am not able to send and receive anymore email messages after I activated packet filtering. If I'm deactivating completely the IP Pacjet Filtering option, mail is arriving and can be sent out with no problems. Can anyone help me out with this ? I don't have much experience in filtering out packets and I don't know exactly which type of traffic, excluding DNS and SMTP needs to be allowed to pass in order to have a functional email system. Thank you in advance. Regards, Alin
