Make sure your dns is correct. You will also need a set of rules and protocols to allow AD traffic. Probably best just to use them as delivered, ie member servers unless the good doctor or Mr Harrison have accomplished AD membership of these without making too many holes. I've been working my way through Configuring ISA 2004. I'm having a problem that may be specific to to the NE product but I'll ask here. I can't get the server to join the domain. The error is "Failed to join the domain. Unable to update the password. The value provided as the current password is incorrect." I had previously been getting domain not accessible errors that were resolved after I created the proper routes to the internal network. Additional info. I can do an nslookup of the domain name and return the proper internal IP address. Ping domain name resolves the DC address and works. I believe I understand the pro's and con's of having the ISA server a domain member and the pro's for me outweigh the con's.
