A lot of the broadcasts are only available in Real Audio/Video. When
they attempt to launch them, it bombs out with "cannot open location" or
"access denied" errors. Whenever they run into that, I can usually
tweak Real Player to get it through the ISA server, but it doesn't
always work. With the Firewall Client, I can usually get it working by
disabling all proxy settings, but there are some links that don't want
to work no matter what I do.

What kind of problems are you having with NPR?

Thanks, I remember running across that website before. We're
trying to track down a good client program that we can say we will
"officially" support. So far, it appears that IE7 might be the one we
will choose for RSS feeds, but PodCasting is still up in the air. I'm
also looking at software we can put on our website that will cache
feeds, possibly eliminating the need for a PodCast client...

Also, I'm going to be looking at NPR a bit closer, as that
appears to be the one most in demand right now, and teachers only seem
to be getting a small success ratio with getting Real Player to pass
through our ISA server.

It is? I'll have to look at that website again, upon
brief look it appeared to be a hosting site. Maybe I'm looking at the
wrong one? I was looking at www.ipodder.com <http://www.ipodder.com/> .

                Hi Dan,

                iPodder is client software.

Buzzword...

Well, the latest buzzword around here is
Pod-Casting...

The teachers saw a demonstration, and
now they wonder how they ever got along without it before... So, I need
to figure out what software we are going to "support" for this latest
fad. *grumble*

                                What is everyone using for
RSS/PodCasting feeds? I need something that plays well with ISA2004,
we're having tons of trouble with NPR.org as it is...
