Actually Iam testing the stonesoft cluster and right now the server publishing is not working so thought I should install TS to help in troubleshooting stonesoft configuration....but hard luck. What makes the external IP of ISA to listen on port 3389. I do see the server is listening on that port but not on external IP. If so there is aTerminal service IIS extension available from Microsoft for download. With this, you can actually use your browser to access the Terminal Services in any Win2K server. The download is utility is called TSWEB. I dont remember teh exact site name, but may be you can search in microsoft.com. May be you can try this as an alternate solution. I'll check if I can find any other solution... This is what I did after installing TS on ISA box 1. Create packet filter both direction for ts port 2. Create protocol definition for ts port and protocol rule using that protocol definition 3. Create site and content rule specifying the ip of client machine(my desktop) But can't connect to TS. My desktop is in the same subnet as the ISA internal network. However, it should work. Like you mentioned, you need to open up the RDP port. Try it out and let me know if it works. Thats what I use to manage my ISA servers. Your desktop is in the same internal network as ISA server, is it right? Though I need to create the rule to allow traffic to pass on that port. You do thi sthrough Control Panel, add remove programs. Then, you install the TS client in your workstation. Create a connection to ISA server. That's it.. you should be able to logon to ISA server.
