If you own the server, configure the error pages to use a caching directive
header that disallows caching.
cache-control: no-cache
cache-control:private
..all work really well.

Create a cache rule for the site and tell it to never cache.

Subject: [isalist] Tell Proxy Server to Stop Caching Error Pages?

ISA 2004 Standard Edition running on Windows Server 2003 SP1.

Is it possible to tell the proxy server to stop caching HTTP error pages? Our
web team is developing a new page. When they first put it up, users got an HTTP
Error Code 300. Now they've fixed it. People who never visited the page before
are getting the new page. But users who got the original error message are
apparently still getting it, presumably from the proxy server cache (turning
off the proxy server on individual users' PCs makes it so they can see the
actual page, not the error).

Thanks,
Rob
