None of the articles on http://www.isaserver.org talks about how to configure Symantec on ISA Server 2004. They all talk about configuring Symantec on ISA Server 2000 and the interfaces on ISA Server 2000 are quite different from 2004. You'll get lost if you try to follow those articles out there.

I had a similar problem Ruba was talking about and none of the articles help.

Go to www.isaserver.org <http://www.isaserver.org/> and type in a
search for Symantec. There are a few articles there about how to set it
up.

Subject: [isalist] Symantec,

http://www.ISAserver.org

Dear list,

I have Symantec Corporate Edition and am treating ISA as any other
client, the anti virus is a normal client anti virus and not one
designed for the ISA, I have the Symantec server in the management
computers group and can ping and access shares on the ISA from the
Symantec server, I have a rule to allow all traffic from the Symantec
server to the local host but still the Symantec server can't see the ISA
(in its console) and can't update its definitions. Do I need to do
anything else on the ISA part?

Thanks,

r.
