We have 2 site-to-site with Sonicwall and they have worked well with the exception of link failure. They have a tendency to not properly renegotiate the tunnel if the connection is interrupted. A quick restart of the device makes it all better. Just something to be aware of. -----Original Message----- From: Alexandre Gauthier [mailto:gauthiera@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, January 26, 2006 6:26 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Site to Site VPN with a cr@pwall http://www.ISAserver.org Because Cisco doesn't charge for updates.... oh wait. -----Message d'origine----- De : Mark Morgan [mailto:MMorgan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Envoyé : 25 janvier 2006 21:09 À : [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Objet : [isalist] RE: Site to Site VPN with a cr@pwall http://www.ISAserver.org Yep, That would be the problem but sonicwall charges for firmware updates, so he told me he would purchase and install a PIX over the weekend. Thanks for the Info. -----Original Message----- From: Thomas W Shinder [mailto:tshinder@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, January 25, 2006 5:55 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Site to Site VPN with a cr@pwall http://www.ISAserver.org Hi Mark, Does the Kr@pw@ll have the latest firmware installed? I recall an incident a while ago where the sonicwall was so lame it didn't even support RFC compliance by allowing the source port to be something other than UDP 500, although that was for a remote access VPN client connection.
