You can't mix ICS and ISA on the same machine.

Subject: [isalist] Shared Internet connection and ISA

http://www.ISAserver.org

Has anyone experienced using a shared internet connection using MS ICS as
the external NIC on ISA.
I have a satellite connection on a stand alone PC (connection requires
address to be enter in route table for software to work) and I have shared
this connection to a second nic using ICS. The external nic on the ISA is
the reciprical pair of the ICS connection.
Unfortunately this does not work unless the nic is entered into the LAT
and thus disabling the firewall protection as its treat the nic as an
internal route.
can anyone propose a solution. I have read Thomas Shinder's book but
cannot find anything that may assist me in this area.

Thanks
