Hi Tom,

        You can find it at:
http://www.microsoft.com/sharepoint/techinfo/deployment/Extranet.asp, The
technology is very old, but Microsoft finally wrapped all their collaborating
tools together and made nice package. Let me know if you have any other
questions.

Hi David,

I haven't seen the White paper. Do you have a URL for this? I don't know
squat about SharePoint, but its always interesting to read about how they
approach ISA Server configurations. Is there some sort of requirement that
you have to run SharePoint on a file server?

Thanks!

Tom

Hi Tom & Jim,
Its been awhile but I have been watch the group everyday.  I have a
question with SharePoint Portal Server's whitepaper on configuring the
ISA2000 server.  It makes sense what they want to do, by using Publishing
Rule HTTP and HTTPS, but the SPS Server sits on our Corporate File & Print
Server, and I am abit worried if I proceed to create a Publishing Rule, that
I might let a potential worm to our resources or should I say that I am no
longer using the best practices that we are to perform..  Our FP server is
Windows 2000 with the SP and the latest hotfixes.  Do you see a big flag or
is there no other way to publish SharePoint Portal Server. Thanks, David
Dellanno

To map an external IP address to an internal IP address
1.      On the taskbar, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft
ISA Server, and then click ISA Management. 2.      Expand Servers and Arrays.
3.      Expand the name of your proxy server. 4.      Expand Publishing.
5.      Right-Click Server Publishing Rules, point to View, and then click
Taskpad. 6.      Click Publish a Server. The New Server Publishing Rule
Wizard appears. 7.      In Server publishing rule name, type a name to
identify the new publishing rule, and then click Next. 8.      On the Address
Mapping page, type the internal static IP address of the server in IP address
of internal server. 9.      On Address Mapping page, type the external static
IP address in External IP address on ISA Server. 10.  Click Next. 11.  On the
Protocol Settings page under Apply the rule to this
protocol:
*       Select HTTP Server if you have not enabled SSL.
*       Select HTTPS Server if you have enabled SSL.
Note   These protocols must be enabled on the proxy server. See the
documentation for your proxy server for procedures to enable the protocols.
12.  Click Next. 13.  On the Client Type page, click Any request, and then
click Next. 14.  Click Finish.
