OK, fixed the first problem.

After the logs in the Event Viewer, I saw that there was a problem with
the IWAM_COMPUTER user account. Checking out the the MSKB revealed a
fix - and a fix when there was a problem with the first fix!

My internal internet servers are back! Yeah!

And now I know how to fix it next time.

Winfax just appears to have lost its mind purely by coincidence - I
kicked it a while and got it working again.

Thanks - my next question will appear as a new post.

Might be a DNS issue.

What is the DNS configuration?

Subject: [isalist] Setup

I'm having a bear of a time getting our network setup properly. My
original setup was:

Win2KServer, Exchange 2K, and ISA all on one machine.

Eventually, after figuring out all the moronic things I'd done wrong, I
arrived at a functioning internal e-mail server, a SMTP server that
would send to the internet, and internet access for the internal lan.

But Exchange never really seemed happy, and none of my internet servers
would work. So I just tried bringing up a second server. My new
config:

Server 1 - Win2K, Exchange 2K (to be deleted), and ISA
Server 2 - Win2K, Exchange 2K (working), WWW/FTP

When I brought up the second server, things were going great. Exchange
was purring, and I had internet access through the ISA server, and I had
internal access to the webserver.

Then I did something - I have no idea what - and the new server has the
same problem as the old server. No internal access to the webservers is
available.

Please tell me what idiocy I have performed and how to fix it!

Daniel
