I don't know how many people out there are actually using server publishing to publish their web servers, but hopefully someone else is seeing this problem other than myself. I use server publishing in order to have IIS log appropriately. I have a published server which redirects an external ISA IP to and internal (DHCP assigned) IP address on an IIS5 server. All works fine. That is until the server is under load (or the ISASERVER), at which point users begin getting 10061 Connection Refused errors. These errors are reported in the ISAServer FW logs but there is no reference to them in the IIS logs, event logs etc. Of note here, also is that the connections only fail under load through the ISA server. When I connect to the server directly on my LAN, using the same Loadtest tool (Homer).....the problem is not apparent.
