Yes, and you can set the priority of the interfaces in advanced
settings. Make sure that you primary interface (first) is inside (LAN)

http://www.ISAserver.org

When you install a SBS server the second NIC is the NIC that SBS will
use as the internal NIC. IF you are trying to set up the server with the
first NIC as the internal you will have muth conf. to do.

The Wins and DNS will bind to the Second NIC and the server will be a
mess as you said.

I had this problem and it was dns I have SBS server running split dns
both nic's on the SBS box are pointing to the internal ip address of the
SBS server and I have enabled forwarding to my isp's external dns
servers. Also I did run the wizard when I was setting up the server and
it seemed that the whole configuration got messed up.

check your DNS etc.

Subject: [isalist] Exchange and ISA on same server

http://www.ISAserver.org

Hello,

We have SBS, ISA and Exchange on same server. When Exchange is published
with server publish wizard, packet filters are created. With this
configuration we can send, but not receive emails, and telnet
server.domain.com 25 has no reply.

When we manually created server publish rules (5 of them for Exchange),
telnet works, but no sending and receiving, and messages are stuck in
SMTP queue.

A and MX records are created.

Thank you for help
