SMTP Relay

I followed Tom's article on SMTP relay using the ISA Server 2004 to relay
mail both inbound and outbound.  But I am having troubles.  I try to send
an email from within the domain to anything outside and I don't see a
thing in the logs other then a session iniating from Exchange to ISA and
then it closing.

Where should I begin troubleshooting this?
