Hi Tim,

Unfortunately, you can authenticate SMTP sessions if you use the SMTP
filter. This has been an issue for some time. I think they wanted to fix
this with SP1, but the SP was taking too long and maybe they'll address
this with SP2?

Greetings:

By default, the SMTP Filter does not contain the STARTTLS command
required
to initiate an SSL session over port 25 for secure SMTP transmission.
Even
after adding this command, the SMTP Filter does not seem to allow any
SSL
SMTP (SMTPS) to pass. Disabling the filter enables SMTPS to pass.

Is this by design? Has anyone been able to enable the SMTP Filter for
use
with SMTPS?

Thanks.
