Attonbitus, the problems and headaches you are having are the main reason why my organization now only uses ISA for SMTP filtering. Oh wait - I was having problems with SMTP filtering working properly too... :) Don't get me wrong, I like ISA. I wish we could use ISA for our primary firewall. But until MSFT changes their dev practices and make a product whose features work as advertised, ISA will remain our email "scrubber". This is my main complaint with all MSFT products - if the feature isn't ready, then for pete's sake don't give me a menu option for it until it actually works! Way off topic, but does anyone here know of a good log analyzer for Kiwi Syslogs collected from a NetScreen 50 firewall? Our NetScreen 50 firewall sends it logs to a Kiwi server, which saves the logs as text files. I have WebSpy Log Analyzer, but it is useless with the Kiwi logs. WebSpy was what I was using for our ISA logs way back when, it is worked well enough to get the job done. -----Original Message----- From: Deus, Attonbitus [mailto:Thor@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, January 09, 2003 9:12 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: SMTP Filter STARTTLS Issue http://www.ISAserver.org At 04:30 PM 1/8/2003, you wrote: >http://www.ISAserver.org > > >Hi Tim, > >That was something that came up during testing. Maybe I'm being a bit too critical, but to me, to have an enterprise security product that breaks secure mail seems counter productive. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait...
