I couldn't answer that for ya, Joeseph...
I asked that question myselfe and got shrugs in response.
You'll have to point your code in that direction, too or it won't work.

Now why in the heck did they decided to store it at the root?
It doesn't seem to follow the object model at all. The section on the
SMTP will be a good place for me to dig around and get it working
With my outlook filter and bad mail stuff. I already am reading that in
Without issue now just to apply that to my SMTP filter stuff.

Yes, it does.
It's stored in the VendorParametersSet located within the FPC.Root
object. Check out http://isatools.org/isainfo.vbe; it knows how to get
this data.

Follow up - I don't know where the SMTP filter is storing data. My
machine does not have any vender parameter sets For the SMTP filter to
read from. I can read all the filters and write back to the filters
except the SMTP filter! The only file that seems to change when I make a
change to the SMTP filters is a file called software located in
\\winnt\system32\config No other file is changing or stands out except
that and I don't think that is being used to store data.

Thank you,
Joseph

Subject: [isalist] SMTP Filter Application Filter Array

http://www.ISAserver.org

Hi All,

I've been working on some stuff to read the existing smtp filter
information,
i.e.. Attachments, domain, keywords etc. Because it would be a good idea
to back that up As well as the other great scripts that we have around.

I can read the collections and object model for filters, but, the SMTP
filter lower lever stuff
Eludes me. If anyone has any thoughts on a better way to read the SMTP
filter vendor parameter lists Please let me know.

Thank you,

Joseph
