Hi all, I got to thinking about how this process could potentially be abused and it occurred to me that anyone that was allowing external access to their default web site was now allowing external folks to query for the internal ISA configuration. Needless to say, I found this just a bit distasteful. I thought about creating steps to validate ISA policies, etc., but I quickly realized that this was a potential rats-nest if anyone had more than one rule or they were using packet filters (ISA 2000) or access rules (ISA 2004) to publish web sites. What I decided to do was control it at the source. I've added steps to the "file modification" sections that will address this question and help you keep your internal information internal. The updated package is available at http://isatools.org/sbs_wpad_2.zip. As always, comments, questions, small unmarked bills are welcome. -----Original Message----- From: Jim Harrison [mailto:Jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, July 20, 2005 6:56 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: SBS wpad trickery BETA http://www.ISAserver.org Updated package & instructions based on feedback from a few folks.
