Hi JB,

The firewall client is NOT required to access POP3 servers.

Normally, one includes network address ranges in the LAT and
internal domain name, not specific router addresses. I was unaware that
the firewall client was required for the client to access external POP
servers.

Hi I am trying to figure out why a previous FW client that has
the software uninstalled would still allow POP mail access to an outside
server. Can anyone tell me if it is a best practise to keep routers out
of the LAT entries?

        thanks,

        Peter
