http://www.ISAserver.org ------------------------------------------------------- One thing to remember; if you've applied any updates to the old ISA before you exported the configuration, you MUST install the same patches on the new one *before* you try to import the configuration. SP and some patches change the XML schema and can make the import process "interesting" if you don't bring the new ISA to the same patch level as the old one before importing the configuration. Then import your old rules. Then do a in-place upgrade from 2004 to 2006 and your configs will be OK Thomas W Shinder, M.D. Site: www.isaserver.org Blog: http://blogs.isaserver.org/shinder/ Book: http://tinyurl.com/3xqb7 MVP -- Microsoft Firewalls (ISA) > -----Original Message----- > From: isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of > tim.altena@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Sent: Thursday, June 26, 2008 2:58 PM > To: isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [isalist] Re: Replacement ISA hardware > > http://www.ISAserver.org > ------------------------------------------------------- > > Unfortunately it is ISA 2004 to 2006 upgrade at the same time. > > Tim > > > -----Original Message----- > From: isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] > On Behalf Of Thomas W Shinder > Sent: Thursday, June 26, 2008 2:42 PM > To: isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [isalist] Re: Replacement ISA hardware > > http://www.ISAserver.org > ------------------------------------------------------- > > Hi Tim, > > You bet!
