Yes I agree that only one AD server is risky. I will upgrade the winnt4
to 2000 now first. What about all the settings that ISA has stored in
AD?

Jon,

     Make sure that your FSMO roles are held on the other 2000 DC, then
run dcpromo to remove AD from your ISA. It will become a member server.
I would feel "risky" If I only had AD running on one box though.

Hi,

I have one ISA server on a Wink2 machine with Active Directory. Now I
would like to remove AD from that server. I have one other AD server and
one WinNT4 BDC on the network for the same domain.

What would happen if I remove AD?
