Okay, it's been a while and I am back on this project. Jim, you mentioned that I need to configure IGMP for this traffic, etc. I did configure IGMP and on the Internal Interface it is setup as a Router V2 and made the external interface a Proxy (we already have RRAS installed because we VPN between our 4 sites). My issue now is how do I make rules to allow this to pass through. I have heard it done, I just can't figure out the next step or the right Access rules. ISA doesn't "do" multicast. We have ISA 2004 (SP3) and I need to know how to allow multicast traffic from our Internal network to our Public interface so our users can get IP TV provided by the University. I have a rule setup, and setup the ports, but I'm having issues with the multicasting (I kinda know what that is from using Ghost locally, I'm just not sure how to allow it from Internal to External). The outgoing ports are TCP: 4904, 4905, and UDP: 4900, 4901, 4902, and that seems to be setup fine as I get the IP TV On Screen Guide, but it's the multicasting thing I'm hung up on as I can't watch the programs selected. Thanks in advance. NAT/PAT shouldn't be a problem, we're NAT'd here as well and have no problems, although we did have to adjust some devices to allow multicast traffic through in general. TCP: 4904, 4905 UDP: 4900,4901,4902 After these were open, everything worked as it should. -Seth Horvath s.horvath@xxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:s.horvath@xxxxxxxxxxx> 732-445-1635 ________________________________ From: pc_lan_admins-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:pc_lan_admins-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Steven Comeau Sent: Wednesday, October 15, 2008 5:04 PM To: PC_LAN_ADMINS Subject: [Pc_lan_admins] RU IPTV Anyone have firewall configuration issues with the RU-IPTV? We use Microsoft's ISA server and I can't seem to get all the parameters in line to get it to work. I can get the Guide, but I get the Reception: no broadcast available. I'm thinking it is a protocol issue, but it may also be that we NAT/PAT over a single Public IP... Any takers? Thanks in advance.
