Hi Thomas,

Thank you! Sometimes it's the small things that go un-noticed when it
comes to setting up a machine. W2K driver after either upgrade or
windows 2003 using a driver that it thinks maps well to the NIC. I had
some older 3com NICS that were mapped to real tek drivers. That's what
I believe was causing the problems. Updated the NICS and Drivers the
machine worked great again.

Hi Joseph,

Good call. I always "hard code" NIC settings these days and don't even
think about it. Never would have considered this a possibility since its
such a habit.

Thanks!

I recently had the same type of problems with some NIC cards. At least
that's what I've narrowed it down too. After the machine would process
for awhile it would just halt and not allow traffic from any machine
through
The ISA Box. After replacing the NICS the problem went away.
I configured them to be FULL Duplex rather then AUTO.
