If I was in USA, i certainly would follow your idea and buy a server on e-bay
like you said Tony. But I´m in Brazil, and computers and servers over here are
little more expensive than there.
Raj, do you know how to do that bind? To specify the SQL server use an specific
lan card?? Is that possible.
Greg, do you know what is website of the SBS list?

Who in his right mind would install any database application on a firewall
machine?
As Steve Moffat pointed out yesterday, ISA server is a firewall and not a
fileserver!!!
You can get a very nice Dell Server on EBay for between $200 to $300 and
install the
ISA Server on it.
I spent about almost $245 on a Dell PowerEdge 2400 Server that has 1GB RAM, 6
SCSI
hard drives (18.4GB each) and with 2 1000Mhz Intel CPUs. And this machine is
running
ISA 2004 standard edition like crazy. It's working flawlessly. Always let ISA
servers run on their
machines without bothering them with other applications and you will love
them!!!

Remove the SQL Server from the ISA 2000 server. Install it on a different
server and see what happens. According to MS best practices, ISA Servers run
and perform flawlessly when there are no other applications on the server
interfering with it.
